Remember the museum scene from Ferris Buellers Day Off? In the movie they go to the art museum and Cameron keeps staring at a painting. Last week while driving along the Mississippi river I discovered a park with these strange looking sculptures along the river. I had no idea what was going on with these sculptures, until I got up close to take pictures. I realized that the sculptures where set out like the painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte from 1884. It’s kind of funny to see these up close.

I had to share these photos for the Friday photo post; I thought it was crazy and VERY unusual to see up close. I thought you would enjoy the photos, they instantly reminded me of the movie. ha! Hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend.
